Kurt Cobain was Nirvana’s lead singer and vocalist who died at a young age of 27, while the band was at the peak of its career. In 1985, Cobain formed Nirvana with Krist Novolesic in Aberdeen, Washington from where his mug shot above was taken.

He was arrested on May 18, 2006 after he was caught by Aberdeen police for trespassing and being under the influence of alcohol. He was formally charged on May 25 as shown in his mug shot above. It was not his first encounter with police officers as he was also arrested in the same place for vandalism one year prior to his May 18 arrest. He wrote the words “God is gay” on the wall of a bank (now Bank of America) which led to some more serious charges against him.
