A Florida woman accused of firing a semiautomatic rifle at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home in March has been indicted on 14 felony counts, including attempted murder, prosecutors announced Wednesday.

The indictment against Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 36, of Orlando, was unsealed September 30 in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Ortiz is charged with one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with an assault weapon and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper.

Prosecutors allege Ortiz drove to the Beverly Crest property on March 8 and fired multiple rounds toward the home. According to the district attorney’s office, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, their children and other people were on the property or at a neighboring residence at the time; authorities said no one was struck by gunfire.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the grand-jury indictment followed a September 29 finding that Ortiz was mentally competent to stand trial. The district attorney’s office said she has entered a not-guilty plea and is due back at the Foltz Criminal Justice Center on October 29 for a pretrial hearing.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division. The charges are allegations, and Ortiz is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
