Actor Keegan Allen says he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside Laurel Supply in West Hollywood on Thursday night, October 8.
According to reporting by WEHO TIMES and WEHOonline, two masked men approached Allen outside the market on the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. One was armed with a handgun and the other with a knife. The assailants demanded his watch and bracelet, and Allen was struck in the face with the handgun before the suspects fled in a vehicle.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told news outlets that West Hollywood Station deputies responded to a robbery call at about 9:05 p.m. The victim sustained a forehead laceration and was evaluated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire personnel. Allen later posted video showing his injuries and surveillance footage that appeared to capture the attack.
Allen is known for his television roles in “Pretty Little Liars,” “Walker” and “The Rookie.” The robbery quickly drew wider attention because it occurred on a busy stretch of West Hollywood and involved a recognizable actor.
The case remains under investigation. Authorities have not announced an arrest, and the identities of the suspects have not been publicly confirmed. Anyone with information has been asked to contact West Hollywood Station detectives.
