Jimi Hendrix entered the book of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. But before the peak of his career, Jimi Hendrix was detained by airport officials from the Toronto Airport after the discovery of heroin inside his baggage on May 3, 1969. He bailed an amount of $10,000 for his temporary freedom but he came back to court two days after his arrest.
He explained that the drugs were not his and that an insane fan secretly slipped them into his bag. Rumors say that it was a government implanted evidence in order to destroy Hendrix for his active participation in communism.
