Wesley Snipes, known for his role as Blade in the “Blade” trilogy, was sentenced to three years in federal prison for failure to file income tax returns. His lawyers fought forcefully to have his case dismissed but he lost his appeals in November, 2010. He reported to the Federal Correctional Institution Mckean a month after. He is expected to be released in July 2013.
